Full alt text: A wide, dark gothic-style promotional graphic for Stony Brook University’s 9th Annual Spooky Brook. The design uses a black background with vivid neon green and purple accents. In the center, large dripping green text reads “Spooky Brook,” with “9th Annual” above it. Below the title is an illustrated dark castle silhouetted against a large glowing purple moon, surrounded by hanging lanterns, twisting ornamental vines, flames, and distressed green-and-purple textures. Small text beneath the castle reads “USG x SEA.” Large purple-and-pink gothic lettering near the bottom reads “OCT 24TH,” followed by bright green text reading “SAC • 6-10 PM.” The center artwork is framed by two tall side panels featuring dark green-and-black patterned textures. The left panel contains a glowing green, mirror-like frame with the silhouette of a hand reaching downward, while the right panel features a similar glowing frame showing several shadowy hands reaching toward one another. Along the bottom left are the Stony Brook University Student Life, Funded by the USG Student Activity Fee, and USG Student Activities Board ( SAB ) logos. The overall design has a dramatic, eerie, fantasy-villain aesthetic inspired by a haunted or enchanted lair. Banner for 2026 Spooky Brook
